Joseph Bardakji
Lawyer

A young lawyer at the Montreal office, Joseph Bardakji completed his articling term at Cain Lamarre before going on to join our litigation team. His keen interest in pleading and argumentation led him to steer his career in this direction as early as university.
Prior to joining Cain Lamarre, Mr. Bardakji acquired hands-on experience in Technology Law, cybersecurity and data privacy with a major international firm. Known for his attention to detail and his logical mind, he takes the same meticulous, analytical approach to every case. Fluently bilingual, he practises law in both French and English.
Mr. Bardakji holds a Bachelor of Science from the Université de Montréal, a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Sherbrooke, and an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Common Law and Transnational Law (Juris Doctor). He also completed a Master’s degree in Common Law and Transnational Law, thus consolidating his understanding of the Canadian, American and English legal systems and enriching his knowledge of Transnational Law. Over the course of his studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, he distinguished himself by finishing among the top litigators in the Canada-wide Laskin moot court competition. His academic commitment also led him to represent the interests of his colleagues on the Ethics Commission of the Association Générale Étudiante de Droit de l’Université de Sherbrooke.
