Marika Quirion

With degrees in law and criminology, Marika Quirion joined the law firm Cain Lamarre in December 2025 as part of the youth protection law team serving the Nunavik region.

Originally from Beauce, Marika Quirion completed her law degree at Laval University in Quebec City. She began her career in the legal field with an internship at Cain Lamarre in 2016, where she continued to practice until 2018. She then pursued graduate studies at the University of Montreal, where she earned a master’s degree in criminology in 2022.

Known for her human approach, keen listening skills, and empathy, Ms. Quirion has always been committed to giving a voice to victims of domestic, sexual, or physical violence, particularly through her involvement with the Centre for Justice for Victims of Crime at the University of Montreal.

Marika Quirion also handled numerous cases at the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions in Longueuil. Her perseverance, teamwork, and warm personality were particularly appreciated there, both by victims and her colleagues.

These experiences have strengthened her expertise, and she is now back at Cain Lamarre, ready to contribute fully to the youth protection law team.
