Maude Dagenais

Genuine, meticulous and proactive, Maude Dagenais takes a structured approach, anticipating challenges and coordinating each stage of the project to ensure a smooth execution. Her goal is for her work to make a tangible contribution to her clients’ growth and success. 

Ms. Dagenais began her career at Cain Lamarre in 2021 practicing Indigenous Law, where she assisted clients with various complex matters, including ancestral rights, First Nations governance, and the negotiation of constitutional and administrative agreements. In addition, she led cases in health Law by advising health and social services centers in her capacity as an institutional counsel.

Since 2026, Ms. Dagenais has practiced business Law, applying her expertise and attentive approach to a new client base. Her experience in both business Law and Indigenous Law has enabled her to develop a multifaceted perspective on legal issues and to strengthen her skills, whether in providing advice or managing complex cases.

Recognized by her colleagues for her authenticity, professional rigor, and collaborative approach, Ms. Dagenais is always ready to offer concrete solutions tailored to her clients’ realities and objectives.

A member of the Barreau since 2020, she previously served as a board member on the Conseil de section du Barreau de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue,  and has held the position of secretary on the board of directors of the Jeune Barreau de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue since 2025.

In her community, Ms. Dagenais volunteers with organizations focused on mental and physical health—two issues she knows well from her work in health Law. Among other things, she has been involved with the Brousseau-Dargis Foundation and the Club de course Malartic for the past three years.
