Ophélie Lamard
Lawyer
A member of the Barreau du Québec since 2025, Ophélie Lamard practices primarily in business law. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a constant desire to innovate, she draws on her rich and multidisciplinary background to assist her clients in carrying out their projects and resolving their legal challenges.
After beginning her studies in economics and management at Lumière Lyon 2 University, Ms. Lamard turned to law, obtaining a master’s degree in private law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, as well as a Dean’s Award from the Université de Montréal in 2023. Her interest in understanding human and societal issues also led her to complete a master’s degree in journalism at the Institut d’études politiques de Grenoble.
Her experiences at the Grenoble Court of Appeal, Agence France-Presse in Bogota and Paris, and Quebec law firms have shaped her rigorous, strategic, and open-minded approach.
Having lived in Argentina, Colombia, Russia, and England, Ms. Lamard has developed a particular sensitivity to cultural contexts and human interactions. She continues her commitment at the intersection of law, culture, and communication, convinced that the role of a lawyer goes beyond the legal framework to contribute to a constructive and sustainable dialogue between actors in society.
