Régina McCamus

Meticulous, strategic, and honest—these are the qualities that define Régina McCamus in her civil and commercial litigation practice at Cain Lamarre.

Admitted to the Bar in 2021, Ms. McCamus earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa while working as a legal assistant and paralegal in the litigation department of a national law firm. Beyond meeting her clients’ needs, Ms. McCamus seeks to identify risks and opportunities in order to propose strategic solutions, sometimes extending beyond the initial mandate.

Known for her close relationship with clients—being available, attentive, and transparent at every stage of the engagement—Ms. McCamus pays particular attention to understanding objectives and constraints in order to provide tailored advice.

Ms. McCamus is also actively involved in her community. She volunteers with the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. This is a cause that is particularly close to her heart following her own daughter’s hospitalization at birth.

A fashion enthusiast, she has also previously served as a research assistant in international arbitration proceedings and provided pro bono legal services to a women’s fashion company in Montreal.
