
Stéphan Ferron
Lawyer, Board member - Support for Partners and Professionals

Stéphan Ferron, a lawyer and member of the Cain Lamarre Board of Directors, specializes in labour and employment law, mediation and arbitration, as well as insurance law and litigation.
Mr. Ferron has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1991 and is renowned for his expertise in negotiating collective agreements, as well as his ability to resolve disputes before they reach the courts. He works mainly in the mining and forestry sectors, as well as with car dealerships, providing them with practical, strategic advice.
Mr. Ferron is known for his proactive approach to case management, favouring face-to-face meetings and company visits to better understand his clients’ issues. He was previously president of the Val-d’Or Chamber of Commerce and a director of the Fondation du Centre Hospitalier de Val-d’Or. His experience and involvement in the community enable him to provide legal advice tailored to the specific needs of the region.
Mr. Ferron has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa. Outside of his legal practice, he loves camping and other outdoor activities such as hiking in the mountains, biking and training. He values spending time with his family and is a strong proponent of community engagement. He has served on various boards and participated in many regional activities.Notably, in 2024, Me Ferron co-chaired, alongside Me Louis-Charles Bélanger, the fundraising campaign for La Ressource for People with Disabilities in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, raising a record amount of over $825,000 to support people with disabilities in the region.
