Zia Diorio
Lawyer
Zia Diorio focuses her practice primarily on labour and employment law, as well as municipal law. She advises and supports public and private organizations on matters related to labour relations, human resources management, and the negotiation of collective agreements and grievance arbitration.
A law graduate from the University of Ottawa and a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2021, Ms. Diorio distinguished herself throughout her academic journey. She appeared on the Dean’s List from 2017 to 2020 and received several distinctions from the Association des juristes italo-canadiens du Québec (AJICQ) for academic excellence, as well as the Norton Rose Fulbright Award for professional excellence.
Involved in her community, Ms. Diorio has been serving since 2022 on the board of directors of CPE Tamanoir. Her involvement reflects her desire to help create better living and working environments where performance, well-being, and sustainable urban development go hand in hand.
Outside her professional activities, Ms. Diorio enjoys hiking and traveling. She also supports initiatives that promote creativity, access to culture, and environmental protection. Guided by the belief that “every challenge hides an opportunity,” she applies this mindset both to her legal practice and to her personal commitments.
