Cain Lamarre is seeking a youth protection lawyer to join its Val-d’Or team. Given the nature of the work, which involves frequent travel to Northern Quebec, including Nunavik, the individual, while officially attached to our Val-d’Or office, could be based in another region of Quebec.

PROFILE SOUGHT  

The ideal candidate must have a sense of adventure and be resourceful. The position requires monthly travel of at least 5 days to Inuit communities. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent organizational skills, ease in building interpersonal relationships, and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, including remotely, in order to integrate well into our dynamic and dedicated youth protection law team.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT

• Be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar Association
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written (exclusively English-speaking clientele)
• Strong organizational skills and sense of responsibility
• Outstanding customer service
• Ability to manage priorities effectively
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with partners to achieve goals and foster a positive work environment
• Adaptability to various situations, including emergencies, and flexibility in the face of change
