Cain Lamarre is looking for a business development advisor for its Montreal or Quebec City office. We are currently in a phase of growth and innovation, and we are looking to strengthen our business development team to continue creating value for our clients and professionals.

PROFILE

Working closely with the Business Development Department (BDD), the Business Development Advisor will play a key role in implementing actions arising from our strategic plan. This person will actively contribute to strategy development, support firm professionals, structure development initiatives, and participate in outreach activities.

This position is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to the firm’s growth through a strong client approach, cross-selling strategies, the creation and evolution of service offers, and the development of innovative tools. In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to meet our teams over two monthly visits to our various business locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business development management to implement actions planned as part of strategic planning;
  • Participate in the development, drafting, and evolution of service offers;
  • Support professionals in their client development and client meeting preparation activities;
  • Act as a resource for all professionals for business development manners;
  • Collaborate in the implementation of cross-selling strategies, outreach initiatives, market development and sector growth;
  • Contribute to the creation of tools, templates and processes to support development efforts;
  • Participate in visibility and outreach events, in representing the firm or by accompanying teams;
  • Monitor results, compile data, and prepare analyses or recommendations related to the performance of BDD actions.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, marketing, communications, or any other relevant field;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience; knowledge of a legal or similar professional environment is an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook;
  • Excellent mastery of French and English, both spoken and written;
  • Strong writing, proposal structuring, and strategic communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to manage priorities, prompt and efficiency of execution;
  • Highly comfortable working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Excellent ability to move from strategy to execution with agility;
  • Autonomy, initiative, organizational skills, and attention to detail;
  • Flexibility and adaptability;
  • Service-oriented, diplomatic, and able to support professionals in their development;
  • Interest in business issues, organizational growth, and the legal environment (an asset).
