Cain Lamarre is looking for a human capital advisor to join our teams in Sherbrooke, Mégantic, and Drummondville.
PROFILE
The human capital advisor supports managers (directors/partners) and employees (support staff/paralegals/professionals) on various human resources issues. He or she conducts researches, performs preliminary analyses, and develops initial drafts of tools, policies, or practices related to human resources management (HRM). He or she actively participates in the implementation of procedures and processes related to his or her area of expertise. He or she participates in special projects related to HRM or in certain mobilizing projects within his or her target clientele.
The successful candidate will stand out for their passion for people, their motivational leadership, their autonomy, their communication skills, the quality of their customer service, their thoroughness, and their organizational skills. This person will be responsible for managing human capital operations in their territories (Sherbrooke, Mégantic, and Drummondville) by ensuring the implementation of the human capital management team’s strategic directions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as a human capital resource for employees in assigned business locations;
- Provides day-to-day management of employees in assigned business locations in close collaboration with colleagues in the human capital team and regional managing partners;
- Ensures the performance of the support and administrative staff team;
- Manages acquisition and attrition (recruitment, interviews, onboarding and integration, departures, etc.);
- Participates in the advancement of the strategic plan in collaboration with the human capital directors of the various territories;
- Actively participates in developing, implementing, and managing programs, procedures, processes, and policies in various areas of HR to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of employees in assigned business locations; ensures their interpretation to members of assigned business locations;
- In collaboration with colleagues from the human capital team, coordinates the complete performance evaluation cycle for support staff, paralegals and professionals, as well as the salary review and bonus process;
- In collaboration with colleagues from the human capital team, implements engagement and recognition strategies;
- Works regularly with colleagues in the human capital team on workforce issues.
- Participates in HR projects related to various HR themes and priorities such as diversity and inclusion, total compensation, health and wellness, employer branding, etc.
- Any other related tasks related to human capital management.
SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, human resources management, business administration, or an equivalent diploma;
- Have 5 years of relevant experience in human resources management; experience in a professional services environment is a major asset;
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Have a strong sense of professionalism and customer service;
- Possess excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and good analytical and synthesis skills;
- Have excellent organizational skills and be able to carry out several projects simultaneously;
- Be able to travel regularly to three different locations (Sherbrooke, Mégantic, and Drummondville).
