PROFILE SOUGHT

Reporting to the Communications Director, the Junior Communications Advisor contributes to the entire communication process—from planning to execution—in support of the firm’s strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate stands out for their rigor, curiosity, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Versatile and team-oriented, they possess strong writing skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate communication activities to support daily operations and enhance the firm’s visibility
  • Write various content (key messages, presentations, press releases, etc.)
  • Design and coordinate the production of communication tools (reports, brochures, videos) in collaboration with external suppliers
  • Participate in positioning activities (sponsorships, events, etc.)
  • Help manage the firm’s social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, intranet) and measure their reach
  • Suggest approaches and tactics to increase the visibility of professionals and their expertise
  • Monitor trends, tools, and best practices in communications
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by management

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience (experience in a law firm or professional services: an asset)
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written Good command of English, both spoken and written (regular English-speaking clientele)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft environment and SharePoint
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational sense, and execution efficiency
  • Political acumen and ability to collaborate in a team
  • Adaptability, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
