PROFILE

Cain Lamarre is looking for a lawyer for its Sherbrooke office.  The candidate must have at least four (4) years of litigation experience. The person will be called upon to perform a variety of tasks (research, drafting legal opinions and representations) and to take charge of cases independently, while benefiting from the support of the team.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT

• Be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar Association;
• Have at least four (4) years of litigation experience;
• Demonstrate independence, entrepreneurial spirit, professionalism, and rigor;
• Have strong analytical and synthesis skills;
• Possess strong legal writing and research skills;
• Ideally, have already managed cases independently;
• Have experience and interest in construction law;
• Interest in developing a diversified practice;
• Team spirit and collaborative attitude;
• Excellent command of French, both oral and written;
• Good command of English, both spoken and written (regular English-speaking clientele).
