Our office is looking for a notary specializing in real estate law and business financing to join our Saguenay team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in synergy with a team of professionals located throughout the province.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to meet the growing needs of our clients while maintaining personalized, high-quality service, we are looking for a notary specializing in business law and corporate finance. Working alongside paralegals and other professionals at the firm, he or she will be responsible for handling cases assigned to him or her in various areas of notarial law, but mainly in commercial matters (real estate purchases, family trusts, etc.) and corporate finance. The successful candidate may be required to draft traditional documents such as wills, but only for business clients.
SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in law and a postgraduate degree in notarial law;
- Member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec (Quebec Chamber of Notaries);
- Legal knowledge in matrimonial matters, corporate law, securities, trusts, persons, and estates;
- Knowledge of computer tools such as the Land Registry, the Telus Assyst Immobilier platform, the RDPRM, and Para-Maître software is an asset;
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills;
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written;
- Outstanding client service;
- Rigorous, thorough, and professional;
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
