Cain Lamarre is looking for a receptionist for its Lac-Mégantic office to assist its professionals and support staff in various operations related to the smooth running of the office reception.

 

PROFILE

The successful candidate stands out for their strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, enabling them to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Versatile and highly customer-service oriented, they enjoy working as part of a team and contributing meaningfully to the success of the office.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle phone calls and messages
  • Greet customers, bailiffs, and other visitors arriving at the reception desk
  • Manage the booking of conference and videoconference rooms and ensure on a daily basis that all reservations and cancellations are properly recorded
  • Prepare conference rooms for meetings and events, including setting up coffee and refreshments, ordering meals, and cleaning the rooms after meetings
  • Make copies of customer IDs, scan them, and file them in the EDM
  • Manage pick-ups of company books
  • Receive client payments
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail
  • Send packages by courier and prepare registered mail
  • Receive faxes and distribute them by email to the appropriate recipients
  • Check stationery inventories and place orders as necessary
  • Place coffee orders
  • Book airline tickets, hotels, and car rentals for business travel
  • Register professionals for various activities (chamber of commerce, conferences, etc.)
  • All other related tasks

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Experience working in a professional firm is an asset
  • Strong client service skills with good communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly approach

  • Strong sense of organisation and responsibility
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent mastery of French
