Cain Lamarre is seeking a Senior Business and Market Intelligence Consultant* for one of its offices. We are currently in a phase of growth and innovation, and we are looking to strengthen our business development team to continue creating value for our clients and professionals.
YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Strategy, you will serve as a strategic partner to the firm’s leadership and teams.
You will transform data, trends, and business intelligence into analyses and recommendations that provide a better understanding of markets and clients, support the firm’s positioning, and guide its growth initiatives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze markets, industries, customer segments, and the competitive landscape.
- Identify trends, emerging needs, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct research on priority companies, customers, and markets.
- Support initiatives related to customer insight, customer experience, and customer loyalty.
- Contribute to the development of the strategic client and loyalty program.
- Make recommendations on positioning, initiatives, and priority content.
- Develop dashboards, metrics, and decision-support tools.
- Optimize the use of CRM, internal data, and external sources.
- Present clear and actionable analyses to senior management and firm leaders.
- Collaborate with the strategy, business development, marketing, and communications teams.
SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT
- Significant experience in a role involving market intelligence, strategy, business development, customer insights, or marketing research.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and recommendation skills.
- Ability to present data in an accessible way and tailor it to different audiences.
- Understanding of Power BI
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research.
- Strong proficiency with data, CRM systems, and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to advise managers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Independence, sound judgment, curiosity, and a strong sense of priorities.
- Experience in professional services or a complex B2B environment is a plus.
