Cain Lamarre is looking for a Transportation Law Lawyer to join the team in either our Québec City or Montréal office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a legal and strategic advisor to support the growth and development of transportation businesses
- Advocate industry specific matters before administrative, penal, and civil tribunals
- Build and maintain strong, long term relationships of trust with clients
- Play an active role in the evolution of legislative frameworks that have a concrete impact on road safety
- Support businesses in achieving and maintaining their compliance obligations
- Work in a stimulating, diverse environment that is deeply rooted in the realities of the transportation sector
SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT
- Be a member of the Barreau du Québec
- Have a strong interest in penal litigation and in handling complex files
- Demonstrate a strong team spirit where collaboration, communication, and respect are essential
- Be comfortable in client‑facing situations and able to provide clear, structured, and tailored advice
- Show curiosity, rigour, and strong attention to detail
- Possess strong proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, an asset for our interprovincial and cross‑border mandates
