Cain Lamarre is looking for a Transportation Law Lawyer to join the team in either our Québec City or Montréal office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a legal and strategic advisor to support the growth and development of transportation businesses
  • Advocate industry specific matters before administrative, penal, and civil tribunals
  • Build and maintain strong, long term relationships of trust with clients
  • Play an active role in the evolution of legislative frameworks that have a concrete impact on road safety
  • Support businesses in achieving and maintaining their compliance obligations
  • Work in a stimulating, diverse environment that is deeply rooted in the realities of the transportation sector

 

SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT

  • Be a member of the Barreau du Québec
  • Have a strong interest in penal litigation and in handling complex files
  • Demonstrate a strong team spirit where collaboration, communication, and respect are essential
  • Be comfortable in client‑facing situations and able to provide clear, structured, and tailored advice
  • Show curiosity, rigour, and strong attention to detail
  • Possess strong proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, an asset for our interprovincial and cross‑border mandates
