Cain Lamarre is looking for a youth protection lawyer for its Val-d’Or office.

Considering the nature of the work, which involves frequent travel in Northern Quebec, including Nunavik, the selected candidate—although attached to our Val-d’Or office—may be based in another region of Quebec.

Full-time temporary position to cover a maternity leave

PROFILE

The ideal candidate has a sense of adventure and is resourceful. The position requires monthly travel of at least five days to Inuit communities. The selected candidate also demonstrates excellent organizational skills, an ability to build strong interpersonal relationships, and a capacity to collaborate effectively within a team — including remotely — in order to successfully integrate into our dynamic and dedicated youth protection law team.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT

Member of the Barreau du Québec
Excellent command of spoken and written French
Excellent command of spoken and written English (exclusively anglophone clientele)
Strong sense of organization and responsibility
Outstanding client service skills
Ability to manage priorities effectively
Ability to work as part of a team and to collaborate effectively with partners to achieve objectives and foster a positive work environment
Strong ability to adapt to various situations, including emergencies, and to demonstrate flexibility in the face of change
Ability to maintain self-control under pressure or uncertainty, while remaining calm, respectful, and solution-oriented
