Cain Lamarre is looking for a Business Development Advisor for its Montreal or Quebec City office.

PROFILE SOUGHT

We are currently in a phase of growth and innovation, and we are looking to strengthen our business development team to continue creating value for our clients and professionals.

Working closely with the Business Development leadership, the Business Development Advisor will play a key role in implementing actions stemming from our strategic planning. This person will actively contribute to developing strategies, supporting the firm’s professionals, structuring development initiatives, and participating in outreach activities.

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to the firm’s growth through a strong client-focused approach, cross-selling strategies, the creation and evolution of service offerings, and the development of innovative tools. As part of this role, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to meet with our teams during two scheduled monthly visits to our various offices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Business Development leadership to implement actions outlined in the strategic plan
  • Participate in the development, drafting, and evolution of service offerings
  • Support professionals in their business development activities and preparation for client meetings
  • Serve as a resource for all professionals regarding business development
  • Assist in implementing cross-selling strategies, outreach initiatives, market development, and sector growth
  • Contribute to creating tools, templates, and processes to support development efforts
  • Participate in visibility and outreach events, representing the firm or accompanying teams
  • Monitor results, compile data, and prepare analyses or recommendations related to the performance of business development actions

SKILLS AND QUALITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or any other relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience; knowledge of a legal or similar professional environment is an asset
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Autonomy and initiative
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Outstanding customer service, diplomacy, and ability to support professionals in their development
  • Ability to manage priorities, work quickly and efficiently
  • Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent capacity to move from strategy to execution with agility
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Interest in business issues, organizational growth, and the legal field (asset)
