As part of the public inquiry (in French only) presided over by Coroner Dave Kimpton, which will begin in late March, the law firm Cain Lamarre will advise and represent the Association du camionnage du Québec (ACQ) contributing to a broader reflection on road safety issues while highlighting the daily reality of its members.
“By representing the ACQ, we ensure that all of the industry’s concerns regarding road safety are heard,” said Stéphane Lamarre, lawyer and head of the Transportation Law practice group.
The hearings will primarily focus on a first death that occurred in Ange-Gardien in July 2025, as well as two deaths that occurred in Boucherville in August 2025.
