Cain Lamarre is pleased to announce the closing of the investment in AGA Benefit Solutions (“AGA”) by Novacap, a leading North American private equity firm, and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, which acquired TA Associates’ stake.
This transaction marks Novacap’s return as a shareholder in the company, alongside AGA’s management team, whose members remain significant shareholders.
Since the signing of the transaction documents, Cain Lamarre has advised AGA’s senior executives, Chantal Dufresne, Chief Operating Officer, and Martin Papillon, President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as the minority shareholders, throughout the process.
This new chapter in AGA’s development will support its continued growth across Canada. It brings together partners who share a common vision and creates promising opportunities for the years ahead. Led by Sylvain Aird, a multidisciplinary Cain Lamarre team with expertise in business law and labour and employment law helped bring this transaction to completion.
