François Daoust

François Daoust is a litigator specializing in Professional Law at Cain Lamarre’s Montreal office. He is called upon to advise his clients on many aspects of the professional system and successfully represents them before various legal bodies. He is recognized for his effective legal strategies and strong defence of his clients’ interests. As part of his practice, Mr. Daoust applies his experience and skills to cases involving professional ethics, the governance of professional orders, advice for substructures within professional orders and assistance with investigations.

Mr Daoust is renowned for being fast, thorough, flexible and approachable. He prioritizes open communication and creative solutions. He is an attentive listener and an excellent communicator. In parallel with his practice, Mr. Daoust completed a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development at HEC Montréal. He supports the firm in its sustainable development efforts by helping find ways to integrate eco-friendly and sustainable practices into our everyday operations. He has also gained additional insight into his field by taking part in a number of international exchanges and specialized certificate programs. Mr. Daoust is a man of many interests. In his spare time, he enjoys activities such as long-distance running, cross-country skiing, alpine touring and sailing. He is particularly passionate about environmental protection and the fight against climate change.
